Ok So I finally got this back. This is one of my favorite projects from my 2d design class this semester.
Project: Word Association
Rules: Illustrate an image to depict 1 word or a phrase no more then 3 words in length.
Word/Phrase: To Boldly Go
Illustration: Mr.Spock, Captain Kirk, Dr.McCoy
Medium: Sharpie
Style: Dot Shading
I hate dots. But this was fun. I really loved doing this. I\'m gonna try to fix it up in photoshop if I can get it scanned (18x24 it\'s big).
I\'ve already had several offers on the original but I am not willing to give it up just yet, so I will be making prints outside of DA if any one is interested.
Time Take: 48 + hours
Sharpies used: 4 Super Sharpies, 1 Regular Sharpie, and 3 Fine Point Sharpies.
